Adding pieced borders to Strips that Sizzle

I am wishing I had mitered the first borders, now I need to get rid of the blue that extends into the gold border. Thinking I might add a corner block or just piece in a new gold section. Any ideas out there in Quiltland???

  1. I'd say chop off the overlapping blue bit and add a piece of gold to make a corner block that blends in. It looks amazing, I really love the color palette you used.

  2. I love your quilt and it looks like it is framed. Love all the colours. You could bind it in the blue and it will all work out.

  3. I love what the pieced border adds to the beauty of the quilt. I think I would just add a gold piece in and call it done.

  4. I think anything you do it would look great! A corner block is a good idea and then one in the outer border? ♥
