I am wishing I had mitered the first borders, now I need to get rid of the blue that extends into the gold border. Thinking I might add a corner block or just piece in a new gold section. Any ideas out there in Quiltland???
I'd say chop off the overlapping blue bit and add a piece of gold to make a corner block that blends in. It looks amazing, I really love the color palette you used.

ReplyDeleteI love your quilt and it looks like it is framed. Love all the colours. You could bind it in the blue and it will all work out.
ReplyDeleteI love what the pieced border adds to the beauty of the quilt. I think I would just add a gold piece in and call it done.
ReplyDeleteI think anything you do it would look great! A corner block is a good idea and then one in the outer border? ♥
ReplyDeleteIts so pretty...I envy you...that you don't stop until you finish something.I just don't have it in me to do that.God Bless Trish
