Pictures of my Wizard of Oz Collection of quilts are scattered throughout my blog. Colleen's Quilting Journal to Oz is toward the bottom because it was my very first post.

I recently created my blog, just in time to participate is this blog party.
Please note the post about Quilting Treasures website featuring my collection from the first four series of Wizard of Oz fabrics.

I hope you will enjoy browsing through my blog and viewing the quilts. I have had a great time creating each and every one. Thank you for visiting!!!

  4. What a treat reading your blog today and what a wonderful way to celebrate the Wizard of Oz.

Saw your quilts featured on the Quilting Website and small wonder-they are fantastic.

They mentioned you even designed these - that is very creative.

Read your quilting journal also, love it how you quilted and sang the songs from the movie.

There is just something so cozy, comforting and soothing about quilts and how great that your loved ones receive these.

And that is a great little trio of dogs!

  7. I was so happy you came to visit me at Once Upon a Fairyland. I too, was new to blogging not long ago. I've so overwhelmed by the love and praise and good positive affirmations given, I just want to take Tinkers hand and sing...I can fly, I can fly, I can fly...Be blessed, beautiful work, just amazing quilting.

  9. OH, Colleen! I'm so glad you invited me by! Your patchworks are Ozzy perfection! If you like the idea of doing a quilt "channeling" the Oz countryside/Emerald City outskirts (like I suggested under one of my images in my Gala blog entry) feel free, I'd be honored. It's more than obvious, as shown in your quilting results pictured here, that you could do the idea justice! Remarkable needlework indeed! P.S. I simply love the Friendship quilt featured below, as well. As the old adage truthfully goes, "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree!"
