Our oldest mini schnauzer Bridgette went across the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Kidneys starting to fail again and red blood cells extremely low. She had lost a lot of weight and we knew it was time to let her relax and be with Millicent ( her sister ) I am sure Millicent is licking Bridgettes ears again as she always tried to take the best care of her little sister. Bridgette was 11 1/2 yrs old, born 3 days after our first grand daughter Abbey.
Samantha and Taffeta are visibly depressed, so I moved Bridgette's favorite bed from the den to the laundry room/kennel. They are both curled up together now, I think we will all be alright.
Colleen...I am so sorry for your loss. I truly know what you're going through.
ReplyDeleteI saw your post on the quilters blog and did a double take. My little girl was euthanized on Saturday...her birthdate was April 8, 1998.
I'm sorry for your loss. Your furbabies are so precious.
ReplyDeleteSo, so sorry. I lost a cat to kidney disease. It's not easy. A year later, the other pets still smell her chair but they're no longer depressed. Wishing you the best.
ReplyDeleteColleen, I am so sorry to hear this. I know how special our babies are to us. We lost our 16 year old poodle to kidney failure 1 and a half years ago so I know your pain. Hope you are all doing well now. Twyla
ReplyDeleteBrought tears to my eyes.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. You did the right thing, glad she isn't suffering anymore.
