This past weekend my older sister Kathleen came back home to Oklahoma by Amtrak. Three days on the train, quite a trip. The oldest of the 3 Kirk girls, she has been living on the eastern shore of Virginia with no family for many years. Younger sister Janeen lives here and we spend a lot of time together, but it has been a long time since we 3 were together. We have been having so much fun. Kathy's 45th class reunion is this weekend so we have had her hair cut, colored, and hi lights, and been playing dress up for each event of the reunion. Just like long ago we all are having fun together and laughing and talking nonstop. I pray that she will be happy and content living back home again. Our Mother is 88 yrs old and this is very good for her too.
This is my rambling for today, no quilting. Although I have been sewing sleeves on the quilts I am entering in our guild quilt show June 25-26.
Happy Quilting,
Colleen
That will be a big adjustment for her...but she will most likely be very happy....as all of you will be. Trish
